Beryl skipped two grades of high school as a result of her bargain with a sprite. While she has all of the academic knowledge, she skipped some of the emotional development, as well as the gap year that is traditional for Warriors to take before going to an academy. She lived with her parents and younger sister, and was fairly close to them.
Warrior enhanced abilities: All Warriors have enhanced physical capabilities, as a byproduct of being bound to angelic magic. Beryl still
hasn't gotten used to her body, especially as she's still building muscle and adjusting to puberty.
Angelic gift: Beryl can control a few metal alloys in a specific range of formulas. While she can summon or control metal of this kind, she
must focus intensely to do so. She can, however, easily manipulate the position of the metal once it's in existence, and thus, relies largely on
this ability in combat.
Bargained gift: Beryl did not bargain for a power with her Sprite.
Weapon: Beryl utilizes two weapons in combat (as well as blunt training equivalents), her giant axe and her throwing knives. The axes speak
for themselves: giant, double-headed blades that weigh almost the same as Beryl herself. She has to control the axes with her power, otherwise, she
wouldn't be able to lift them at all. The knives are extremely simple, flat metal sheets with sharpened points, designed specifically for Beryl to
fling with her power rather than her hands.
Academic prowess: Beryl was the kind of person who didn't need to study for tests growing up, and maintains this image even at Luan Academy.
"Beryl" is a mineral which forms prisms in various colors. Its name is related to "beryllium," an alkaline earth metal which is often used to
harden metal alloys.
"Tang" can mean two things: a sharp flavor or odor, or the part of a blade which extends into the handle to connect the two.
